Because there's thousands of nail salons and I'd like to crowdsource personal experiences to narrow it down.

I mean but you’re talking about a very narrow subset of the population. They need to be trans + go to a nail salon. I imagine it’s very stressful as a trans person to walk into a new situation and not know how you’ll be treated so I can understand the need but you’re probably going to have to do a little leg work on this.

Should you have to? No, in a perfect world this wouldn’t be an issue at all, but this isn’t a perfect world. I mean in my experience at most nail salons they are pretty business like. “What color? Do you want them cut?” I’d pick someplace nearby with good reviews and give them a call.

I understand your point, but if I can garner positive experiences and recommendations here then that at least gives a jumping off point.
