Hey everyone, my wife and I are looking to find some farms/animal sanctuaries that are children/toddler friendly to take our daughter. We’re down near the NY state line area but is willing to travel to take our daughter to see some farm animals/animals that she can pet and get up close and personal with. Thanks everyone!

Verdant view farms in PA. It's a ride but is outstanding. We literally spent a whole day playing with the goats, chickens, cows, and rabbits.

Also Silverman farms has a petting zoo if you don't feel like trekking the 4 hours out to PA.

Riley Farm Rescue https://therileyfarmrescue.org/

Rescued pets and farm animals. They will take you around to different pens and you can pet most of the animals. You can feed some of them as well. Really nice and compassionate crew.

My wife hooked up an air bnb here. They have a yurt near the entrance with air mattresses. A little musty but comfortable and it stayed 100% dry in an overnight downpour.

Roaring acres alpaca farm in Suffield is neat.

Flamig farm in Simsbury is also a good petting zoo. We went around Halloween and they have a lot of fun stuff for kids to do plus a pretty long hay ride.
