There are no tabs/clips to slide/push to un-hinge the drawer from the slider. It's a file cabinet.. and it's very heavy and unyieldy. Need to carry it upstairs.. taking drawers off might reduce the weight and make it easy to carry.

Looks like the part attached to the drawer is on backwards. (As in the wrong side). The black clip should be in the back.

Nope. This one has roller balls instead of just the roller that you can lift.

Take it off at the screws mate, done. Post the slider after you remove the drawer. It will all go back together even if its MDF boards.

That little black clip, is there another one further back in the drawer? Those typically will release the rail.
