A lot of chrome in a small picture. I think I see a connection point at the top of the flare on the bottom. Feel the opening and make sure that there is a diffuser.

Yeah sorry, it's hard to get a good photo of it. Are you referring to the very bottom where it narrows underneath the widest point?

The diffuser should be in the opening at the bottom. The spot where that narrows is where it should unscrew.

Ah, okay. Yeah, I have a photo from underneath showing that it's also connected to the rest of the faucet, sadly.
