It’s on a Kraftmaid cabinet I bought at the outlet and I’m going to screw three cabinets together to make a bathroom vanity unit so I need this panel gone. I don’t want to structurally damage the cabinet by removing it but it’s going to be screwed into another cabinet.

Well I'll be damned. That just has plastic plugs and can be popped on and off eh? Never seen that before.

I'm liking them. Imagine if we could put up wall panels in houses like that instead of drywall.

Drywall does give you some racking resistance though.

Minor, compared to actual sheathing, but sure. There are other options to using drywall as your shear provider. I'm just thinking of the convenience vs. practicality.

I was definitely surprised. Of course I was expecting it to be screwed on when I bought it so when I couldn’t find the screws….

It's so you can either butt another cabinet up and continue the run or slap an end panel on and call it a day. Modular cabinets.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing for our master vanity. Would love to see an update with your process :)

Is it not screwed from the inside?
Any chance you have a pic of the inside?

It's probably nailed on, holes puttied and paint. Try slipping a putty knife in the seam and wiggle it back and forth.pull away from the cabinet with some force, if it moves even a little, it's nailed. Should be able to pull with hands
