thanks! I often try and look for painterly scenes/ emulate that feeling with my work so I'm pleased you think so

that's very kind of you to say, glad to hear it. I've not talked about it a lot to be honest but did recently do this interview which sort of offers some detail. I shoot both digital and film but like to try and emulate certain qualities of film with my digital work (like this one) such as grain structures and tonal qualities.
