Not pictured: 700 tourists behind them waiting to take same photo.

FUCKIN BEAT ME TO IT. I have two pictures of lake Louise on my phone. One like this and the next one about 20 ft back

If you get there at early sunrise you’re ok, but yes, later in the day it will be packed

I was there yesterday and dammit it's totally frozen 😄. Still gorgeous though. Did some snow shoeing.

Gorgeous but too many tourists. There are plenty of other beautiful quieter lakes out there but it’s still a fantastic view no doubt.

Awesome view but it is insanely busy (much closer to a huge city than most big parks) and far more commercial. There’s a super fancy hotel right behind this picture and some of the patios, etc. are off limits if you’re not a guest (also can’t eat at their restaurant). And often they will close the parking lot because it’s so busy.

Worth seeing once but if it’s serenity and peaceful nature you’re looking for, go elsewhere after. There’s a number of magnificent lakes nearby like Peyto that might have 10 people while there’s 300 at Louise.
