Fellow Minnesotan here, I can verify that this picture does include trees, rocks and what could be sand.

Probably need more Minnesotans to evaluate the sand, but if we get any more it'll turn into a potluck with more hotdishes than we can eat and no one will ever leave.

So, I guess we'll never actually know on the sand.
