Taken last week, on an hiking trip in the French Alps. For the brief moments that this mountain lit up in the autumn sunlight, I was just passing this creek - of course the comp I noticed was in the middle of the stream, so taking off my boots and enjoying an icy cold foot bath was the only real option (:

Technical stuff:

Single exposure

Sony A7R2

1/8s, 18mm, f14, ISO50

I have more mediocre landscape images up on Instagram, come say hi :)

woke up at 2 AM, hiked for 11 days just to get to this spot. Not to mention the dragons I had to slay in order to get the shot.
