Merry Christmas and happy holidays all!

I took this photo after a weekend of snowfall in Banff. The snow created a scene like being inside a snow globe, and the reflections in the water made the scene.

Hey, that’s not fair. It’s impossible to take a bad picture in Banff. Seriously though, I visited there during the summer several years ago, and it is the most beautiful place I have ever been.

This was my only exposure to Banff Canada as an 80’s teen. Apparently, due to a writer’s strike, lots of the lines were ad-libbed by the cast. Perhaps Tom Hanks has a soft spot for this magical place.

We just went to Banff for the first time 2-3 months ago. We went to Lake Louise 2-3 days but never made it to Lake Moraine because it just seemed harder to go and I didn’t know anything about it. I regret it some, but we had limited time and it will encourage us to ho back.

Visited from Ireland last Feb, first time in Canada, had an amazing time! You're very lucky to live there. We were snowboarding for the week but still managed to visit all the bars and restaurants we wanted to and made a trip to lake Louise, up the gondola and hiked Johnston creek in the snow worried we were about to be mailed by mountain lions!
