Love this!! I spent New Years morning in 2021 exploring Grand Canyon in the snow. It is a magical place to be.

My Dad and I were once caught in a blizzard in the month of February during a hike in the Grand Canyon. We were down by the river when a ranger informed us a storm was moving in fast. Had about two miles left to go hiking up the rim when it started snowing. We obviously made back to our car, but those last few miles were miserable.

January 2016 I was there when it got pummeled by 12-18" of snow. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Being from the East Coast I guess I just wasn't expecting to see snow in the grandcanyon so when we arrived and this is what I saw I was amazed. What a wonderful sight, glad I could capture it.

Used to visit and stay in El Tovar in February for my stepdad’s birthday. He loved snow in the canyon. Makes me a little teary-eyed when I see it.
