I just watched a report about 2 guys in their garage designing a VTOL that they want to use to fly people back and forth between Boston and NYC. Probably one of those things you make to hopefully get bought out by an established company looking to stay relevant.

Theres a new flying car/jet pack every two years. But nobody can make them work.
