I don't want to say for sure, but I'm pretty sure there was 2014-ish youtube video about that, might've been one of the Vsauce channels or something. Think they determined that its actually impossible.

I feel like Randall Munroe (of XKCD fame!) would be able to answer this on his What If? site; it's full of stuff exactly like this. Here's one that answers, from how high would you need to drop a steak for it to be cooked when it hits the ground?
