Thanks for your comments but re the flu if you look a bit closer I wrote that most deaths were due to secondary bacterial infections , which of course are treated with antibiotics normally gif

Sure, and people don’t die from HIV; they die from diseases that they never would have gotten if they didn’t have HIV. You have to attribute credit where it’s really due.
