This article adds nothing meaningful.
The the future if medicine will likely include fewer doctors but it won't necessarily be due to a wave of new medical technologies. Sadly it's second order consequences of cost containment by insurance companies and large hospitals.

They do if they agree to work for the military for a few years—know quite a few docs that went this route. The military needs every kind, even pediatricians, since military families rely on them too (though this system is currently undergoing some changes). Most get out after fulfilling the minimum requirement, since moving every few years is tough, but a few get interesting opportunities to specialize in operational medicine like from an emergency medicine background or trauma surgeons.

I'm sorry but what a poorly written article. Literally what is the information shared? Doctors should try to order the right tests? Medicine has advanced? They presumably interviewed this doctor about the future of Medicine and that is what they shared with the world?
