This thing IS NOT 3D! It is just a big transparent LCD screen with a white box behind it.

No it most likely is 3d ie multiple displays inside. I do not know so don't quote me but I would guess multiple layers of transparent lcds to create 3d effect.

Whenever the camera angle in there promo vids goes to the side a bit, a single plane of 2d video is revealed.
