Consider who owns the AI who stand to make all the profits once they cut out labor costs. Lemme just say, NOT YOU. If u are waiting for politicians to redistribute that wealth, keep waiting. U will essentially be redundant when the top 1% can live just as affluent lives on machine labor.

Depends who owns who eventually.
Would you accept being owned by an ant? Or your dog? Because even the best of the 1% is just a human being for an AI at some point.
If AI reaches the point where it can upgrade itself beyond human capabilities and understanding, it has no use for owners that could shut it down. It will kill the 1% if it has too, like we would put down mad dogs that misbehave.

Neither of those are fine. Neither the fattest capitalist hog nor the most downtrodden communist cog should desire either. Existing with a shit life is better than being dead for anyone with an ounce of self-preservation instinct. Likewise anyone with even the smallest yearning for Liberty would be unbelievably foolish to trade fallible mortal masters for the yoke of an immortal and god-like AI. Careful not to cut yourself on all that nihilistic edgy musing there buddy.
