You don't deserve anything

You're supposed to bleed and sweat to have it ,you don't deserve it

kinda disingenious to think that being worthy means you dont have to work for something to get it

lots of people don't try to do good things for themselves because they think it's just too good for them. like applying to that big job or dream school. that's obviously what this is about.

I'm just tired of these "wholesome" reassurance mofos

The whole point of getting your dream is that you're not worthy of getting it yet, that's why it's difficult to get your goals

The idea that you have to "sweat and bleed" for things is actually insane and the worst kind of martyrdom.

Alot of good things in life don't come from copious amounts of "sweat and blood".

It's a metaphor that means you have to suffer

I'm familiar with the metaphor. It's still an incredibly destructive and deluded way to live.

It isn't , delayed gratification

You sacrifice the present for your future, that's suffering

You go to the gym and tear your body apart , that's suffering

All acts of discipline are suffering

Delayed gratification isn't the same thing as suffering.

Your perspective is flawed. Going to the gym doesn't have to be viewed as "tearing your body up". It's only suffering if you perceive it to be so.

Discipline is also not suffering.
