At some point, everyone peaks. Nobody expects Harrison Ford's performance in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny to exceed Raiders of the Lost Arc. Nobody thinks Dolly Parton has another 9 to 5 in her, just waiting to be unleashed at age 76.

Sure, there are exceptions, but that's just what they are. Exceptions.

Yes, but it is very often premature to judge that you have peaked without good evidence, especially when people still have years in their life yet.

Same can be said of any motivational quote isn't it. Cannot be applied 100% everywhere but need to look at what good impact it can have on one.

Over 40 years into their career at the forefront of heavy metal, Metallica just put out what might be their best song ever just a few days ago. Bad Religion put out their best album in 2013. There’s no reason to focus on inevitable decline, that’s the whole point of the post. We all get it already.
