Is no one going to comment on the fact the right ladder isn't making progress at all? It's permanently stuck at 10 instead of increasing by 10 each time.

I think it’s trying to picture the progress as just a bit at a time instead of taking chunks out of the whole. It’s like reading 20 pages a night vs chapters 20-30 in one night for this week. Might be easier to consume when not overwhelmed by your overall progress and a need to stay ahead.

The ladder on the left describes increments of increasing difficulty. The top of the ladder is the same height for both.
