What do you mean by cynical garbage, if this motivates people and helps people achieve what they want, what is the issue?

They have no issue with the motivational posts. It’s the comments that try to poke holes in them that they’re frustrated by. I understand that frustration but I don’t think expressing it in such a combative and sarcastic way is going to help anyone.

Well said, yeah I didn't understand his comment at first. People are very cynical in these wholesome motivating posts, it's kinda frustrating.

I would assume it’s because they’re struggling. I wish the best for them!

They don't get it yet and that's okay. It's different perspectives, maybe stages. When reaching a certain point, some people realise it's either over, defined by societal standards (reach this, that and that goal by 20, this by 25, etc, or you have failed), or they have to drop this whole having "peaked" language, realising they might still be here with 60, 70, and what are they supposed to do? Dig a hole and lie in it until they actually die? Or keep trying and being in the middle of things because that's what life is about, despite being too old or whatever. Nobody cares. Either do something or don't. Wish people would understand there is no point to prove whatsoever, it's only them and their experiences. Despite that, I don't like the overly cute motivational stuff either despite agreeing with the general message to keep going and stop comparing. Maybe a cute fluffy yellow chicken just provokes aggression in some, especially when they have it hard 🤷
