We think it's not just one ingredient. The game must give the player pleasure, but at the same time give him a sense of completion and success. Besides, good innovations in gameplay are always welcome. There is no universal formula (or at least, we did not find it :)).

We certainly follow a lot of factors, including storytelling.
There are no rules, you have games that keep selling for years, and the new ones that get hyped, but will last short.

Besides them, we play a lot of games, and everyone in the company has their own favorite genre, so it's really difficult to say.
