What's the catch?

Probably no privacy. Developer gets to read all of our files and we can only hope he doesn't do unethical illegal things with our info

There is no catch.... it's a paid subscription based service for people who deal with sharing files alot. The developer has no access to your files unless you make it public and choose to share.
It's similar to saying oh Apple's iCloud has all my photos, no privacy..

What sets your service apart from any other mainstream cloud like Google or apple? Why should people choose your service when it's redundant to what we're already using with mainstream services like Microsoft and Google and apple?

Thanks for your question 😀.
Always excited to answer! FFiles is not an alternative to storage services Google and Apple provides. It is a "link" based platform to help you send and receive stuff more easily. Kind of like WeTransfer or DropBox. Or Airdrop for Internet.

Google also is link based.

What does this do that Google Drive doesn't do already for free? Also, rule 5 and 6 seemed to have died a horrible death recently.
