Anything and everything can be bad. It is up to the individual how they act and how they consume whatever it is that they consume.

Sure, I agree. But so are many other things designed to be addictive and while they can be bad and there are bad sides to these things, they are not entirely a bad thing, in my opinion. Social media has created businesses, keeps people connected across the world etc etc. Of course people are different and for some it is better to “quit” whatever said thing is, but is that entirely said thing’s fault? No.
