You just told people to hit the e brake that is terribly advice, the e brake is for parking and if your brakes fail to have as a backup. We're not in a fast and the furious movie vin diesel!

Oh and I have 25 yrs of experience working and driving cars, I added this because this is an irrelevant piece of information on knowledge of vehicles. I know people with 50 years of driving and working on cars who think they know stuff but they are fucking useless.

I think Mr. Toretto is imagining a situation where the accelerator is stuck and the brakes are failing right when he's speeding towards a cliff, instead of the much more likely situation where somebody takes their foot off the gas while driving and the pedal doesn't come up.
