Good tip, although you can also set the browser to reopen all the tabs you had when closing the browser by default when you start Chrome.

This works for most other browsers as well.

A variation of this tip that I never see anybody mention:

In the event of a browser or OS crash, Ctrl+Shift+T will also reopen the last window state, with all tabs intact.

Rather than reopening the clutter, open then do cmd+y to get a new tab with your history in it. Only open what is needed. Works in Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Safari.

Less useless noise in the tabs, more useful since it works in almost all browsers.

This also works if your computer crashes or shuts down or restarts. Open chrome again, alt+shift+t will reopen all your recent tabs in a new window.

Also Ctrl+w closes a tab and Ctrl+shift+w closes every tab

After you accidentally close a chrome window with many tabs... this has been a savior for years now!
