Or how about people pay taxes on what they owe taxes on? I mean, I know SOME folks think that it's smart to lie on your taxes to avoid paying what you owe, but it isn't. In fact, cheating your country isn't just unAmerican, it's immortal and unChristian - one of the 10 commandments says false witness is a big no no.

You know who doesn't get away with cheating the IRS? Poor and middle class folks. I will never understand why regular folks defend rich folks being able to do so

CPA here... Method of payment doesn't matter. If you make money selling something, it's taxable according to the IRS. It's taxable even if it's under $600, it is just that the IRS only requires the payer to report it to the IRS if it's over $600. But it's all taxable, whether you get paid via PayPal or Zelle doesn't matter.
