Yup bought Salomon hiking shoes since people said they were good. Absolute garbage, soles came off within a few days. Had to reglue a couple times and those were like 130ish?

Try Merrell. I'm on year 3 of yard work (plus another year of normal wear) on my Merrell hiking shoes. I bought another identical pair last year for normal wear.
