I highly recommend NOT burdening your family with those details or the expense. Even if you try to rationalize : “ oh I have a life insurance policy”.
You are still burdening them with the responsibility of the logistics and having to make financial decisions under emotional duress.
Preplan …., get a discount for preplanning , and that way you are leaving the most money to your loved ones instead of sticking them with a huge bill on the worst day of their life. It’s truly your final gift to them.
