The official lottery website provides the prize status for all scratch off tickets. Look at the Game# on the ticket and check the lottery website to ensure that all the big prizes haven't already won before buying the ticket.

Note, There might be two different game numbers for the same lottery ticket type. Ex. Win for Life (Game#2043) and Win for Life (Game#2044), If all the big prizes are gone in #2043, you can still buy the ticket for 2044.
