5yrs of being part of a "family" to be let go because I was honest with leadership and HR. Wish me, my real family, and new mortgage good luck.
Edit: 100% agree with comments about how/when/where to provide feedback. Any constructive feedback, bring possible solutions to the table. Lead and end with positives. Keep wording, tone, and tempo neutral. Stay big picture, don't get lost in the weeds. Keep emotions off the table. Timing always depends on the circumstances. Even if you're a wordsmith, sometimes "Please provide honest feedback" isn't an actual invitation to provide honest feedback, unless it's what they want to hear.
