This is on the quietside along with the hikes below.
For hiking:
Don’t skip out on the quiet side. Go to Beech Mountain, short strenuous hike up to the fire tower or east walk over to the cliffs. Stop by beech hill farm while you’re at it.
Other easy hikes that are good for dogs are Ship Harbor and Wonderland.
Have a blast.
Wow, links and all. Thank you very much!
mount katahdin!
Katahdin for sure. Or any of the other 4k peaks would work. Bigelow, Abrahams, Sugarloaf, Crocker, Old Speck, etc…
Also, you can literally stop anywhere and get amazing weed. Nothing like smoking a doobie at the top of a Maine mountain…
No pets are allowed in Baxter State Park. OP, here’s a good link to check out: https://hikewithyourdog.com/maine
Nicee!! Thank you
Oh for sure
Reversing Falls park.

Belfast has lots of antique places and can be on the way to Acadia. It’s also just a cute little area.
Great wass wildlife preserve
Taking route 1 up the coast will certainly get you into some good spots.
if you’re into antiques i’d recommend the ellsworth flea market and 1a relics, they’re about a 5 min drive from each other.
