It's likely chemical contaminants, after a brief Google search. Seems like ps has been in and out of court for lawsuits regarding where the water actually comes from and stuff like that

They're owned by nestle still under the bluetriton name but it's still nestle at the top of the chain.

Onerock Capital (who is the company that bought Poland springs from Nestle) is not a subsidiary of Nestle. You're asking me to prove a negative.
