Whelp, he deserves losing his lisence. There's no back roads in maine that have a speed limit of 65.

I lost my lisence when I was 17 for doing 60 in a 45. Bumming rides for 30 days taught me something.

Pay the price and call it a lesson learned.

Honestly, do you really think a lawyer will get him out of trouble for getting caught doing almost twice the speed limit?

It's a toss up. A lawyer may get it down to nothing or do nothing and be a waste of time and money.

You don't know every road in Maine, my dude. There are quite a few back roads with speed limits between 45-70. Usually (from my experience) there's miles and miles before a turn off or civilization.

Though I do agree with just paying the price and learn from this experience

Name a non-divided, non-state/interstate highway in maine with a speed limit above 55mph. I’ll wait.

It doesn’t exist. People may do 65-70 on US201 in the West forks, but the speed limit is still only 55.

OMG, thank you for giving me so much credit! This has never happened to me before.

I know very few street names. I'm not a name person, I'm a "that road up there on the right" kind of person. I could literally drive you there, but can't for the life of me give directions, much less name the roads.

(It's ok, I know 100% how pathetic that is)
