Yes, this sub is quite anti-visitor and anti-transplant. Maine in general can be a bit insular but this sub takes it to a new level. It's not personal.

Sounds like a problem folks need to get over, especially if this is meant to be a front-face of the state kind of sub.

Yeah I tend to agree it is not welcoming or productive, but I don't think the sub is "meant to be" anything. It is what it is.
