They do want Campobello island apparently. It’s pretty weird that it’s part of Canada but the only bridge to the island is from Maine, meaning you have to go through border security anytime you drive to or from the island.

The post 9/11 border restrictions, lack of a year round ferry connecting it to the rest of New Brunswick, and difficulty accessing Canadian healthcare have really made things difficult for residents. Lots of abandoned / run down houses now. It quite sad.
