The school is passing out chest binders to children? Do they just have them on hand for the random trans student? That sounds off to me. This is more than no communication between parents and the school. This sounds like the child doesn't communicate with their parents, either. I hope the kid is ok. ā¤š

That was the point of my comment. No one just has a chest binder in case someone at the school comes out and asks for one. The kid bought one or a sports bra.

IF the child isn't communicating there's probably a reason. Like safety or acceptance concerns.
Also I doubt they have them on hand or that there was only one interaction. We should probably ask this child why they didn't go to their parents and why they had to seek safety and help elsewhere.
