Growing up in New England (NH mostly, but two years in Maine), I’d say it’s “you guys” when plural (even women), and just “hey” or “dude” for a single person.

It jives with my many years in Maine and NH, too.
I'm middle-aged and like to throw in a 'folks' sometimes when addressing a group. It feels polite and informal.
