Any suggestions for things to do near Manchester, particularly in the winter? I’m 26F and new-ish to the area, and haven’t done a great job and getting out and meeting people. Am I too late for winter sports leagues? I like soccer, running, frisbee. I like to read, watch sports, dance, exercise, hike. I have a crazy dog. Im not sure what to do with my time outside work now, especially since it’s cold. Any suggestions would be great! I’d love to meet other young people and make some friends.

Welcome! You might find some good suggestions in threads from past winters if you go back a few pages in the subreddit. My personal kneejerk recommendation if you're an active person (but want to stay within city limits) is Vertical Dreams, a climbing gym on Commercial St. Very friendly folks and a nice array of things to do there!

Hey 23F here I also live in Manchester and am always down to make new friends. I agree it does feel extra difficult at times to do so. I really enjoy boards and brews on elm st for a chill evening out. Feel free to message me as well :)

There is also a store in Manchester dedicated to disc golf cakes Breaking Chains.

I love going to the board game Cafe Boards and Brews. On Tuesdays there is a group from the concord boardgame meetup.com group that is welcoming to drop ins

For running, Millennium Run Club. Also, To Share Brewery has a running group on Fridays at 6pm.

My girlfriend recently found the 550 Art Studio downtown. They have lots of different adult classes and she's already met a few new friends.
