I like my country, I still think it's weird to cover everything in the flag

Having a small flag on your desk is not covering everything in it? Not sure if you’re dumb or just stupid

I think the difference is most other people would either not have it at all or use that space for a picture of a family member or loved one. You also just misread their comment. They're saying its weird to put the flag on random items or in odd places like on a desk.

I have a Costa Rican flag on my desk because I’m proud of my heritage, is that weird?

You can do what you want, but considering the conversation about having flags in random places seems to come up relatively often I'd say there is a fair number of people that think its weird.
