Woke up to see the notification in my email. Opened these bad boys up and got these three!!! Kailh Speed Pink, Gateron Oil Kings, and some other Kailh switch. Its a darker red stem, with a clear top housing, and solid white bottom. Not too sure which one that would be

Wow, these Oil Kings are the first higher value switches I’ve seen anyone pull. I was starting to think there was literally nothing in the pool but Kailh, Cherry, Tecsee, TTC, and basic Gaterons. Congrats!

Yeah, I guess Tecsee are priced higher than I thought, and I did forget the Cream Dreams. Though the top tier of this batch of mystery switches still feels a little...thin...in terms of both probability and variety.

Also, were those from this current run of mystery switches? I thought they only came in packs of 90.

Really debating on ordering one of these, $15 bucks for 90 switches is a good deal, although you obviously might get doodoo stuff. I just recently got into the hobby very lightly and wouldnt mind another switch to throw on the shelf over my setup or use good switches in my board.

Really just depends if you got a tight budget doesn't it? Cuz yea, while these might not be as nice as other .50 cent and up switches, its not like your board will sound bad because of it. Especially if you lube these. Also the switch matters even less if you foam up your board.

Oh definitely, just might be a fun thing to do, see if I get anything interesting. I recently just got Kaihl box blacks for my second keyboard. I wanted a heavier switch and don't have stuff to lube switches currently. I'm not super deep into the hobby yet but once I have more than a few bucks for random purchases I might get a little more in depth

Also I don’t see tecsee corals or ice grapes on novelkeys site either but people are definitely pulling them, so I’m not sure that’s the best way to determine what’s possible.

Widely available switches like Gateron (Pro) Yellows cost the same and are better than 99% of the switches you can receive from this batch of mystery switches.
