Only disadvantage is you have to disconnect it and take the keys off to reverse it every other time you want to press the same key.

I now kinda wanna see one of you crazy bastards turn one of these into a functional mechanical keyboard, i know youd find a way, the real challenge would be to find a way to keep the tactile push in feel of the pop it while still having thock.

I literally opened this and went, "this is a joke... right?"

Someone below said that they want to see someone turn one of these into a functional keyboard.... I'm going to second that notion.

Lol! My daughter would love this! She always comes in my office asking if she can type (she canโ€™t type but she likes banking away on the keys which is cute)

Well I mean if youโ€™re really good with designing you could essentially have heavy spring mechanical keys and have this as a replacement for the key caps, but with modified stems on the actual keys to be slightly longer and with a soft mushroom top so the pressure is more even so the user doesnโ€™t feel it under their fingers when the press the top membrane. So basically

Autism membrane keycap layer Mushroom top pressure disperser Extended/thicker key stems Key Board etc.

So how I at least would make it work is the following: find a spring that fits perfectly around the stem of a switch and attach it there, then see if I need to replace the switch spring with 100g springs or something, the 3d print or cardboard cutout for all you 3d printer lacking ppl the shape of all the keys attach it to the spring and it might work. The problem would be figuring out the right spring tension
