Reply to comment by dontmakemegetavpn in To wobble or not to wobble 🤔 Flaming Goat’s review of the Gat Mink says the stem wobble is bad so I’m just wondering what are other people’s thoughts/experiences as I do love a good clacky switch but HATE stem wobble. Thanks by BadPWG
Well that’s where our experiences completely differ because it makes a huge difference to me
I have Tecsee Giant V5’s and HATE them specifically because of the stem wobble. Everything else is great, super smooth, sound good but the wobble is horrible and filming didn’t help at all. Each press feels uneasy, loose and not in the least bit satisfying.
In comparison I have Thic Thock marshmallows with tight tolerances which are night and day difference, they are a sure, solid and an absolute pleasure to type on.
You may not be able to tell the difference but I certainly can and it gives me a totally different typing experience
The whole point of this hobby is to have choices and preference, to dial in our favourite things so I don’t think people’s standards are too high at all, especially with how much it all costs

Not a fair comparison, Tecsee are mostly crap. I meant for Gateron, any reviewer saying a Gateron switch has wobble is only comparing tiny differences to other nice switches. All I was really trying to say is that decent switches are all super close to the level that you wouldn't call any of them bad, compared to truly wobbly switches like your Tecsee linears or my Outemu Skys.
