Never seen a maritime blue H6 before, it's beautiful!

How do you type backtick/tilde on these kinds of board? I’m eyeing one but still hesistant due to that.

I'm actually considering trading the case, the blue is very vibrant in person, but the more I sit with it, the more I love it!

For this board, it's CTRL + Fn + Esc. The HHKB's have a tilde readily accessible, if you can adjust to the control and backspace placements!

It's a stunning blue. I picked up a H6 in PC this year, and I'm happy with it. Norbauer makes great, really high quality cases.

how do you like the PC? I was thinking of trading this for a PC…

Actually on my fc660c with the stock controller, you can make escape tilde by default, then fn esc for escape. There's a toggle (fn q?)

I forgot! Thank you!

How does one obtain a norbauer case? Do you also own MX style boards?
nikostephen OP t1_j1t1t2v wrote
Sadly, they're currently available on the after market. Though I'm not certain, Norbauer doesn't seem like he'll be releasing anymore. There are other alternatives, however, like a Noxary case, or a Sho60 / Sho66. I'm hoping more aftermarket cases get developed in the future for Topre boards.
I've had many, most are sold off now. Here's what I have / had:
- Tofu 60 (First board)
- Bakeneko 65 (Upgrade from the Tofu, now given to my brother)
- Gentleman 65 (Sold)
- Rama U-80A + Kara (Sold -- I didn't love these)
- ai03 Vega (Sold today, I loved this board, so so much. But I couldn't reason keeping it, as I wanted to get a Venn by Gok.)
- In group buy limbo / waiting period for: Monokei Standard, XOX70, Hibiki 65, January
Keyboards have been a fun hobby, though sometimes I fall victim to thinking that there is a next best thing, or quickly feeling dissatisfied. MX Boards are so fun for their customizability; though the same can be said for the Topre space, its simplicity is what intrigues me most. Gives me less to stress over, lol.
