Your at a bar having a few drinks and tonight is karaoke night, and admittedly, your paying attention for someone who really stands out, someone who has some raw talent to sign to the record label.
Many sing many songs, but only one stands out, a young guy who's voice not only manages to sound great in karaoke, but a versatile voice at that, and your quick to get his attention, details and to arrange a meetup to learn more.
At the meetup, you learn a lot: He produces his own music, he mixes his own music, he masters his own music, he markets his own music and is a very snobby audiophile, he has released 2 Country albums so far, and 2 cover ep's.
You ask him what is his ultimate goal in music, so he starts by showing you this: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8i5fah7SviAaUQTYVeIPaP90tXEJdyKM&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE.
He further explains: "I heard this and thought "I can see where they were going, but the execution was not quite there", but they laid the concept of Country Metal, and my goal is to Re-invent the Country Metal wheel, make it mainstream, and dare I even utter these words, become "The King of Country Metal", and I am still in the stage of Re-Inventing, because I am finding it a challenge to get Country and Metal to work together, here is my first "Demo" which is my best attempt so far".
He plays it on his phone, and you definitely can hear him trying to reinvent the genre, and like him you can hear how hard it is to get the two very different genres working together.
You then offer him a Recording Contract, with his goals in mind, to help him to re-invent Country Metal, make it mainstream and to become "The King of Country Metal".
What resources would you allocate to help him achieve the goal of "Re-invent Country Metal"?
