Check out these bands, starting with the albums listed:

Porcupine Tree - Closure/Continuation (2022) (This is their first album in 12 years, a great returning statement by them.)

Steven Wilson - Hand. Cannot. Erase (2015) (Steven Wilson is the front man for Porcupine Tree, but his solo discography is also incredible.)

Haken - The Mountain (2013)

Leprous - Malina (2017)

Thank You Scientist - Terraformer (2019) (Some awesome fusions of jazz & funk in this band's music. Among all the bands listed here, Thank You Scientist are definitely the most fun & the most proggy.)

Vulkan - Mask of Air (2011)

Caligula's Horse - Bloom (2015)

Kyros - Celexa Dreams (2020)

Kingcrow - Eidos (2015)

Wobbler - Dwellers of the Deep (2020) (These guys are basically the lovechild of Yes & Jethro Tull. Their music really stands out though.)

I've been around the block a lot of times when it comes to finding top tier modern-day prog, and these bands/artists are definitely among the best.
