Well, one of their most important sound engineers (Owsley Stanley, a.k.a. “Bear”) manufactured about 5 million doses of LSD as his side gig. (Or perhaps sound engineering was his side gig…).

Lol yeah I think I've heard about that before. They were a little bit before my time but I remember the name mainly for this.
