I grew up in the Golden Era of Rap and Hip Hop and was amazed at all of the different flows and accents in America. Rappers in the 80s and 90s were proud to talk about their town and neighbourhood all the time, videos were made in the neighbourhood and town and they'd make sure to show and mention places they grew up at.

With a new generation of rappers, the lyrics, accents and flows seem unrecognisable as if a LA rapper could be from NY and vice versa. In fact, so many people are determined to sound like each other. The only distinction is if you are foreign like Latino or Asian and born outside of America.
