So bad in fact that in the White House, he had to use the food elevator rather than the one for humans. He later said he was treated better in Nazi Germany than in the US, I mean how tf do you treat anyone, let alone an Olympic champion, like that.

How do you think CNN and others would treat him these days? Successful outspoken republican black athlete still wouldn’t get much love from the same group of people as back then. I guess unless you believe in the switching of political parties and FDR was actually a republican or whatever nonsense they say.
