Steve McQueen didn't want her on The Thomas Crown Affair, Called her Faye Done Fadeaway. Her part as the shrink in the remake of the same movie was a nice touch.

If there was a ever a movie that made me feel like taking a long hot shower after watching, it’s Chinatown. I can see why it’s used in screenwriting classes to teach students, but Sweet Lord that final act was brutal.

Right? New Hollywood was full of envelope pushing movies. Then the blockbusters came along. Mixed feelings on that.
